WHIMM
Dwelling on the sharp, atonal edge of post-punk, Toronto’s WHIMM have brought the searing intensity of their live performances to stages across North America for the past three years. Finally, singer/guitarist Mounir Chami, bassist Andrew Matthews, and drummer Jonathan Pappo present their debut album "A Stare Ajar" (Pleasence Records, Oct'17). Ominous, precise, emotionally & politically charged. This spring WHIMM take their unique brand of raw and noisy post-punk to Europe. Like an absorbing whirl. Feverish, confrontational and with a spellbinding urgency.

LADY LYNCH
Somber and perfectly moody, Lady Lynch joyfully feed the "dis-" to "harmony". Put the punk into poetry's punctuation. And they love symbols, questioning and musing. By offering a dark blend of sharp minimalism, highly slick sense of timing and well nuanced repetition far-flung from monotony, Lady Lynch contrive enticing sonic doom & gloom scenarios. Time becomes a black vortex. All senses lost.
