Mazut means an abundance of colourful effects, synthesizers, vintage radio receivers, dictaphones, magnetic tapes found among trash or bought at flea markets, samplers, drum machines, a four track cassette recorder, and a truckload of other gear. One hand hand heavily inspired by early industrial techno, dutch acid scene and current EBM revival, on the other hand aesthetics and subjects of their compositions revolving around the „aesthetisation of violence” concept. After more than 100 gigs in whole Europe and four albums released before, there comes „Promien” – first album of this recognised polish act that is released on their own imprint, Positive Regression.
